Only the prestigious Senior TT remained on the schedule, but this was interrupted by a serious accident involving BMW rider Erno Kostamo. Ultimately, weather conditions led to the cancellation of the restart for the Senior TT, with results declared after the first lap. Peter Hickman found himself, once again, on the second step of the podium, behind Dean Harrison.
