Post-Race Reactions

Torsten Schubert, Team Principal Schubert Motorsport: “Following our SPX class win last time with the BMW M3 Touring 24H, this overall victory reinforces our competitiveness alongside Yokohama. Our timing during the first pit stop coinciding with the Code 60 period was impeccable, allowing us to move to the front and maintain that position until the finish.”

Marco Wittmann (#77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, Schubert Motorsport): “This is a fantastic success for Team Schubert on our return to the GT3 class this season and for our tyre partner Yokohama. This victory provides excellent motivation for our further preparations for the 24-hour race. Our objective is now to perfect our tyre performance under all conditions.”

Philipp Eng (#77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, Schubert Motorsport): “Every race on the Nordschleife is a joy—winning makes it even more special. Although this victory is significant, we are aware of the work still ahead as we focus on the 24-hour race. We have gathered valuable data to analyse in the coming weeks.”

Robin Frijns (#77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, Schubert Motorsport): “After previous attempts did not go as planned, completing this first race with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO successfully is very gratifying. I believe our victory was down to strategic execution rather than sheer speed; it was enough to secure first place.”
